The need to properly evaluate and research projects and concepts will ensure that a realistic appraisal is available before money and other valuable resources are committed. Effective and accurate business and marketing plans represent a vital mechanism for securing the funding and stakeholder support that is necessary for success.

 

Our most recent assignments…

  • Marton F.C. retained us to assess the feasibility of undertaking a ground relocation and re-development programme. Based in the North East, the football club have exciting plans to expand their facilities on a new 60 acre site. Our assignment included the preparation of a presentation for Councillors which included 3D images of the proposed development.

  • The Charity Fight for Peace retained us to investigate the feasibility of establish a chain of London based commercial fitness operations to help fund the Charity's worldwide actvities. Working alongside consultants KPMG we provided the specialist sports input for the business plan, including demographics, industry volume data, user characterisitcs, competitive analysis, mystery shopping and site aquisitions.

  • We were retained by the London Borough of Hillingdon to prepare Business Plans estimating income and expenditure for a proposed £22.5m leisure facility in Uxbridge. As part of the process we were asked to recommend the most effective management option.

  • Bayer Consulting have been retained by the Brampton Heath Golf Complex in Northamptonshire. We were required to assess the viability of adding a comprehensive range of health and fitness facilities to the existing operation.

  • We have been retained by Middlesex University to undertake a 5 year Business Plan for their new "state of the art" Human Performance Laboratory at the Archway Campus in Highgate, London. The University also retained Bayer Consulting to help assess the feasibility of establishing an Institute of Sport. The University has extensive sports facilities and around 25,000 full and part-time students based at 6 sites across North London.

  • Barnet College, a Further Education College with 25,000 students at 5 different sites, used Bayer Consulting to investigate the feasibility of developing comprehensive community leisure facilities at their Grahame Park campus in North London.

  • Centro, the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive, used our services to prepare a business plan and assess the feasibility of installing a comprehensive range of fitness facilities in their Birmingham headquarters.

  • We have been retained by Watford Borough Council to investigate the feasibility of implementing a new "state of the art" leisure card and resident's card scheme involving the public, private and voluntary sectors.

  • We have been retained by C&W Sports Marketing to undertake a feasibility study into the provision of additional sports facilities and the likelihood of obtaining associated Lottery Funding for the Vauxhall Motors Sports and Social Club in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

  • Kudos Marketing Solutions, a company with blue chip clients, retained Bayer Consulting to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study for a national marketing initiative that targeted the 110,000 amateur sports clubs in the United Kingdom.
