The Football Foundation currently distributes around £60 million of funding to grass roots football each year. There are funds that can support all types of capital and revenue schemes at grass roots level as well as the pyramid.

• Bayer Consulting worked with the Edmonton Cricket Club Land Purchase Society on a funding application for 10 changing rooms to stand alongside the 5 full sized football pitches and floodlit training areas used by London based Norsemen FC. An award of £838,808 with £57k of revenue funding over 5 years, was recently secured from the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity.
  
  
• The Wadham Lodge Sports Ground Trust used Bayer Consulting to prepare a feasibility study for Football Foundation funding that included consultation with schools and local clubs.
  
  
• Hadley Leisure Limited retained Bayer Consulting to assess the probability of a successful Football Foundation application at sports fields in North East London. As part of the  feasibility study a number of key stakeholders were interviewed and the planning, matched funding and ground development issues assessed. 
  
  

• Sun Sports and Social Club in Watford, Hertfordshire retained Bayer Consulting to prepare bids to the Football Foundation and research funding opportunities that were available from the New Opportunities Fund in order to provide improved football, changing and social facilities. The bid to the Football Foundation resulted in an award of £650,000 for the club and its 800 adult and junior members.
